We think we have some thing for everyone here, whether it’s a ‘wee dram’, or a simple thirst quencher; wine or spirits; draught beer, lager, cider, or real ale; perhaps a fancy gin, a bottle of bubbles, or something fruity - maybe a coffee will hit the spot! Our competitive menu features many pub classics, with plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans too – plus a twist to the offering that we think is unique in Hertfordshire and know is unique in Welwyn Garden City; every dish is 100% gluten-free and is prepared on the premises in our clean, modern, entirely gluten-free kitchen - and we even get compliments on our bread!

Many of our diners are unaware of the gluten-free nature of their nachos and battered fish. But for gluten intolerants and coeliacs who usually feel like the ’odd one out’, we’re here to restore equality!

Entertainment can be as varied as the audience that enjoys it, so we’ll focus on a mix of events throughout the year. Be it Quiz nights, Disco, Live Music, or Karaoke, let us know if you have an idea for something you might like to see on the calendar.

It goes without saying that there’s a Pool table and a Dart board in the front bar, as well as a selection of board and card games to keep you amused.

We have an unconventional garden that runs the depth of the pub with a custom fire for those chillier evenings. The outside tables (and shelter) in a secure space offer a fresh-air alternative.
